Sir Tow Mater KG: a 1955 Chevrolet Task Force Series 3800 truck (or an 1951 International Harvester L 170), is the generous and optimistic Radiator Springs tow truck, of which he is the only roadside rescue worker and in which runs a workshop. Despite his age, which has covered almost all the bodywork with rust, he boasts of having the fastest towing cable in the county and, at the end of the film, he prefers to take a helicopter flight rather than turning blue as it was originally. He is one of the first characters to make friends with Saetta, and throughout history he always shows himself faithful, until he becomes his best friend. Its typical interlayer is "Whistle!".
